Video from China of a so-called intelligent sorting system operated by an express delivery company that processes 72,000 packages an hour.<br /><br />The footage, shot in Wuxi City in eastern-central Jiangsu Province on November 2, shows packages at ZTO Express on a 300-metre-long conveyor belt being sorted without a human in sight.<br /><br />The efficiency of the system is three times higher than sorting by human hand, according to reports.<br /><br />The video emerged in the days ahead of China's Singles' Day, which started out as a day to celebrate singletons but has now become more of an online retail event.
