<p>Iranian President Hassan Rouhani travelled to Iran’s western Kermanshah province on Tuesday morning, November 14, to survey the destruction wrought by Sunday’s 7.3-magnitude earthquake in the region.</p><p>More than 420 people</a> were killed in the quake, which struck in eastern Iraq’s Sulaymaniyah province but caused the greatest destruction over the border in the Iranian Kurdish town of Sarpol-e Zahab.</p><p>Footage shows Rouhani welcomed by a crowd of people in Sarpol-e Zahab, where he promised swift action by government to help those affected, according to Reuters</a>.
