<p>Gianluigi Buffon, widely regarded as one of the greatest goalkeepers of all time, said goodbye to international football after Italy’s elimination from the World Cup on November 13.</p><p>It was a tearful end to a glorious career, which saw Buffon capped 175 times and win the World Cup in 2006.</p><p>In this footage, Buffon is seen being consoled by opponents and teammates after a 0-0 draw meant that Sweden progressed to the World Cup finals in Russia, thanks to a 1-0 first-leg win.
