Jeff Sessions maintained his innocence when it came to contact made between the Trump campaign and Russia during a meeting with the <br />House Judiciary Committee. This was the first time Sessions <br />had spoken out since newly unsealed court documents filed by special counsel Robert Mueller's office showed that he was aware that a campaign aide wanted to arrange a meeting between Trump and Russian President Vladimir Putin. Sessions did confirm that he shot down the idea of any potential meeting between the two parties.
