<p>Two Yes campaigners in Sydney got engaged on November 14, the night before the results of the Marriage Law Postal Survey was to be announced.</p><p>Hayley Legg and her partner, now fiance, Emma Guiney, fought for marriage rights for same-sex couples with the NSW Gay and Lesbian Rights Lobby</a> during the intensive three-month campaign. Legg told Storyful her partner was anxious about the results of the survey, and so wanted to propose without the results hanging over them.</p><p>Legg and her friends surprised Guiney at the Union Hotel in Newtown.
