Tattoos and kisses were part of the plan for Avril Lavigne and boyfriend J.R. Rotem.<br /><br />We took these exclusive photos of the happy couple as they stopped off at Tattoo Mania in West Hollywood to get a little ink.<br /><br />Avril and J.R. showed up about 11 in the evening, and even though the shop closes at 2 a.m., they made an exception for the Canadian pop star and stayed open until 5:30 in the morning.<br /><br />We don’t know what exactly went down… but it looked like Avril was helping her man pick out some new tattoos.<br /><br />And if you look close, it appears she helped him decide where to put the design on his forearm.<br /><br />So you know things are getting serious… but the real question is: are things getting permanent? <br />
