And here he is, back at it again and twisting the knobs on an exciting new project.<br /><br />XOA’s MO is to match-make the golden era of 70s Afrobeat and contemporary electronica together. It’s all very tropical, and perfect background music for the cocktail-wielders among you. Whiffs of Floating Points and Bonobo exist, mainly because XOA is equally comfortable backed by a full live band as behind the decks.<br /><br />Shake003 is titled “AIYE LE” and features afrobeat royalty in Dele Sosimi — yours for the taking in May.
