Shocking CCTV footage has emerged of a gang speeding away in a van having stolen a pet dog in broad daylight in southern China.<br /><br />The video, captured in Guangzhou City in Guangdong Province on November 8, shows a man in a van throwing a lasso-type device around the neck of a dog, dragging it at speed into the vehicle.<br /><br />The dog's owner and his friend coming running around the corner and chase after them.<br /><br />The suspect was a dog-snatching gang that steal dogs in rural areas and sell them to dog meat traders.<br /><br />Police were able to arrest the gang and saved around 30 dogs, according to reports.<br /><br />Local media said the police were still trying to find the dogs' owners.<br /><br />++CLIENTS PLEASE NOTE: INCORRECT DATE IS SHOWN ON THIS CCTV CLIP.
