Quentin Tarantino's ninth film will be financed and distributed by Sony Pictures after the filmmaker decided not to make any deals with The Weinstein Company. Sony Pictures acquired the worldwide rights for an undisclosed amount of money. So far, there are few details on the upcoming project, titled '#9' for the time being. But it is said be set in the late 1960s and early 1970s in L.A., according to The Hollywood Reporter.
