Regent Street in central London was closed to traffic on Sunday as toy shop Hamleys staged their Christmas Parade.<br /><br />Dozens of different children’s favourites, elves and marching bands made for a carnival of Christmas fun (even though it's still November).<br /><br />Hamleys is the oldest and largest toy shop in the world. <br /><br />Founded by William Hamley as "Noahs Ark" in High Holborn, London, in 1760, it moved to its current site on Regent Street in 1881.
