<p>A plane approaching Miami International Airport collided with a bird mid-air on Tuesday, November 14, fracturing the plane’s nose and causing the bird to become trapped.</p><p>Despite the collision, the American Airlines Airbus A319 flying in from Mexico City was able to land safely, according to local reports</a>.</p><p>While birdstrikes are not uncommon, a bird’s body becoming entangled into the plane is, according to one airport worker. “Normally you might see some feathers and blood but not the entire bird,” the employee told Storyful.
