<p>Winds whipped along Lake Ontario in New York on Sunday, November 19, as high gusts were reported across the state. Lake-effect snow was expected near the Great Lakes.</p><p>The National Weather Service recorded</a> gusts in excess of 50 miles per hour in some parts of the state.
