Bryan Cranston is talking about his encounter with Charles Manson… and he feels lucky to have escaped it alive.<br /><br />The Breaking Bad star relived the day he and his cousin were riding horses at Spahn Ranch, about a year before the famous cult killings, when a man started yelling “Charlie’s on the hill!”<br /><br />Everybody looked around and jumped on their horses and went away… but Bryan, who was 12-years-old at the time, rode up with his cousin to find this important man to see what all the fuss was about.<br /><br />They found a drugged-out Manson on a horse in a near catatonic state. There were about eight or so people holding onto the reigns and the entire group just passed the boys without ceremony.<br /><br />But Bryan instantly recalled Charlie when the news of the murders broke in August of 1969.<br /><br />And yes, when he saw his face on the news, Bryan’s jaw dropped.<br /><br />Bryan only tweeted that he shuddered when he heard the news of Manson’s passing, but he had spoken about the encounter a year before with The Daily Beast. <br />
