High profile kidnap kingpin, Chukwudumeme Onwuamadike popularly known as Evans, appeared in court on October 19, for the commencement of his trial.<br /><br />After initially pleading GUILTY as charged, Evans pleaded NOT GUILTY after the charges against him and five other accomplices were amended.<br /><br />The defense counsel, after the court sitting, explained to the public, why his client decided to change his plea.
