Serial killers including the late Charles Manson have a loyal fanbase online.<br /><br />On Tumblr (https://nashandhayes-are-amaze.tumblr.com/), people who admire Manson and other well-known American killers including Jeffrey Dahmer and Richard Ramirez very publicly display their affection. Of these deceased serial killers, Manson died most recently on Nov. 19, 2017. <br /><br />Americans have long loved the genre of true crime. But in these disturbing communities, fans share quotes, pictures, and gifs of their favorite serial killers. <br /><br />The motivation behind this strange fandom is not entirely clear. Conditions including hybristophilia, which causes sexual arousal from a partner known to commit violent acts, could be one explanation. <br /><br />That’s what we call fatal attraction.
