<p>London’s Oxford Circus tube station was evacuated</a> and shoppers nearby were told to stay inside as police responded to reports of an emergency “incident” along Oxford Street on Friday afternoon, November 24 .</p><p>News media showed images of armed police</a> inside the Selfridges department stores, after London’s Met Police said</a> it was responding to reports of gunfire. It said, "Police have responded as if the incident is terrorist related.
