<p>An officer with the Manchester (New Jersey) Police Department avoided being hit by a passing vehicle while investigating a crash earlier this month. This dashcam video shows the officer rolling away from the speeding vehicle.</p><p>Manchester Police said</a> the officer stopped to investigate reports of a struck deer. His cruiser was parked with the flashers on and as he was walking back to his vehicle the car sped by, nearly hitting him.</p><p>The driver was later stopped and “issued the appropriate violation.” Credit: Manchester Police via Storyful</p><br />
