<p>Russian aircraft flew over Deir Ezzor province in Syria, dropping munitions the Russian Ministry of Defense said targeted Islamic State fighters on November 24.</p><p>In this footage, a Tupolev Tu-22 Backfire drops munitions, and can be seen with another aircraft, a Sukhoi Su-30 Flanker-C, flying east over the Euphrates River south of Deir Ezzor.</p><p>Russian aircraft have bombed locations in Deir Ezzor province since the Syrian government began an offensive at the beginning of September</a> to take the oil-rich territory from Islamic State control.</p><p>Many civilians have been killed</a> in the airstrikes, according to local media, and close to 400,000 people</a> have fled the area to escape the bombing.
