Footage of a male lion attacking a giraffe calf as the mother tries helplessly to defend herself and her young. <br /><br />The video, captured on November 27 in Maasai Mara, Kenya, shows the lion jumping onto the mother giraffe before she manages to run away.<br /><br />However, as she flees her calf gets caught in her legs and falls down, allowing the lion to leap at it and kill it.
