<br /> <p>Supporters gathered at a stadium in Nairobi on Tuesday, November 28, as Uhuru Kenyatta rang in his second term as president of Kenya.</p><p>“You, the Kenyan voter, have been the most important player in the election,” the president said during his inauguration speech. “Everyone who voted played a role in strengthening our democracy: Indeed, today’s celebration is yours.”</p><p>Kenyatta received 98 percent of the votes</a> during the October 26 election do-over after the August vote was scrapped for not being “conducted in accordance with the constitution”.
