Former national security adviser Michael Flynn has been charged with making false statements to federal authorities.<br />The charges stem from Flynn's testimony with FBI investigators regarding conversations late last year with a Russian diplomat.<br />During a hearing at a federal courthouse in Washington D.C. on December 1, 2017, Flynn pleaded guilty to the charges. <br />
