Former national security adviser Michael Flynn has pleaded guilty for lying to the FBI.<br />During a plea hearing, Flynn accepted an indictment from special counsel Robert Mueller's office charging him with two counts of misleading federal investigators.<br />According to the court filing, Flynn specifically gave false statements or omitted information to FBI investigators looking into Russia's interference in the 2016 US elections. <br />
