A British windsurfer has broken the world speed record for the SECOND time - reaching 54mph. <br /><br />Zara Davis, 51, flew down a 500-metre canal to claim back her record with an amazing speed of 46.49 knots - faster than most speedboats. <br /><br />She spent six weeks in a remote area of Luderitz, Namibia in Western Africa, waiting for the perfect wind conditions. <br /><br />The area has consistent strong winds which blow from the south at the perfect angle to the sailing course, a narrow man-made canal dug into the desert. <br /><br />Zara captured a gust of 45 knots in a south-southeasterly direction to reclaim the record she held between 2012 to 2015.
