<br /> <p>A rainbow that reportedly lasted for nearly nine hours was spotted in the skies above Taipei on November 30.</p><p>According to the Taiwan News, based on observations from two researchers from the Department of Atmospheric Science at Taipei’s Chinese Culture University, the rainbow lasted from 6:57 am to 3:55 pm.</p><p>Two professors at the university, Chou Kun-Hsuan and Liu Ching-Hwang, led efforts to document the rainbow, the BBC said</a>, and intended to apply to the Guinness Book of Records with their findings.</p><p>The current record dates to 1994, when a six-hour rainbow was documented in Yorkshire.
