According to a representative, singer John Mayer is recovering after undergoing emergency appendectomy surgery on Tuesday. The 40-year-old is currently touring around the United States with Dead & Company, a group he formed in 2015 with former Grateful Dead members Bob Weir, Mickey Hart and Bill Kreutzmann. The band has reportedly postponed a concert scheduled for Tuesday night in New Orleans due to Mayer's surgery. <br />
