Footage of five baby barn owls taken in by a villager being released back into the wild in southern China.<br /><br />In the video, captured in Mianyang City in Sichuan Province on October 26, five baby barn owls are placed in a box.<br /><br />A woman takes them out one-by-one and releases them into the wild. She says 'Their mouths open very big, it is scary. We've never seen it (barn owl) before.'<br /><br />According to local reports, the animals were found and taken home by the woman.<br /><br />But because the animals are a protected species in China, the woman was persuaded by police to release them back into the wild.
