<br /> Nick Cassavetes is eying a first-time move into TV.<br />The Wrap shares that the filmmaker has signed on to write a pilot for a drama based on the life of former Los Angeles Kings owner Bruce McNail.<br />McNail, once a self-made tycoon, owned the NHL team for a period in the 1980s and '90s — one that famously saw him bring Wayne Gretzky over from the Edmonton Oilers. <br />
