A security camera in China has captured the bizarre moment a man pretended to by hit by a police car as part of a compensation scam.<br /><br />In the video, which was filmed in Hefei City in eastern Anhui Province on July 10, the man stands looking at his phone in a car park. <br /><br />When he sees a police vehicle approaching, he walks into its path and lies down.<br /><br />When the police officer gets out of the vehicle, the man jumps to his feet, realising that his theatrics have fooled no-one.<br /><br />It's a fairly common scam in China in which people will seek out a car driving at a slow speed and hurl themselves in front of it, only to ask for compensation afterwards.<br /><br />++CLIENTS PLEASE NOTE: THIS VIDEO HAS BEEN LOOPED++
