Coconut Barfi Recipe By Food Fusion <br /> <br />Coconut Barfi <br />Recipe in English: <br /> <br />Ingredients: <br />-Nariyal (Coconut) fresh & peeled 1 <br />-Ghee 3 tbs <br />-Nariyal (Coconut) grinded 2 Cups <br />-Cheeni (Sugar) ¾ Cup or to taste <br />-Doodh (Milk) ¾ Cup <br />-Elaichi powder (Cardamom powder) 1 tsp <br />-Pista (Pistachio) sliced 8-10 <br /> <br />Directions: <br />-In chopper,add coconut,chop well & set aside. <br />-In pot,add ghee and let it melt,add grinded coconut,sugar,milk and mix well. <br />-Cook for 8-10 minutes while stirring continuously,add cardamom powder and mix well. <br />-Continue to cook on low flame for 20-25 minutes or until the mixture comes together and begins to leave the sides of the pot and mix well continuously. <br />-Grease plate and mould with oil generously,add coconut mixture to a greased mould and press it. <br />-Add pistachio and press it. <br />-Let it cool for 1 hour or until set. <br />-Cut into desired sizes & serve. <br /> <br />Tips: <br />-If you are using desiccated coconut,soaked 2 Cups desiccated coconut in ¾ Cup warm milk and set aside for 1 hour. <br />-Follow the same recipe by using soaked desiccated coconut but skip milk in cooking process. <br /> <br />Recipe in Urdu: <br /> <br />Ajza: <br />-Nariyal (Coconut) fresh & peeled 1 <br />-Ghee 3 tbs <br />-Nariyal (Coconut) grinded 2 Cups <br />-Cheeni (Sugar) ¾ Cup or to taste <br />-Doodh (Milk) ¾ Cup <br />-Elaichi powder (Cardamom powder) 1 tsp <br />-Pista (Pistachio) sliced 8-10 <br /> <br />Directions: <br />-Chopper mein nariyal dal ker ache tarhan chop ker lein & side per rakh dein. <br />-Pot mein ghee dal ker melt karein,grinded nariyal,cheeni aur doodh dal ker ache tarhan mix ker lein. <br />-8-10 minutes kliya paka lein aur musalsal chamcha chalatay rahein,elaichi powder dal ker ache tarhan mix ker lein. <br />-Halki ancch per 20-25 minutes ya mixture yak-jaan hunay aur pot ki sides chornay tak paka lein aur musalsal chamcha chalatay rahein. <br />-Plate aur mould ko oil sa grease karein aur nariyal ka mixture ko greased mould mein dal ker press ker lein. <br />-Pista dal ker press karein. <br />-1 hour ya set ho janay tak thanda ker lein. <br />-Desired shapes mein cut ker ak serve karein. <br /> <br />Tips: <br />-Agar khopra use ker raha han tou 2 Cups khopray ko ¾ Cup neem garam doodh mein dal dein aur 1 hour kliya chor dein. <br />-Soaked desiccated khopra use kertay hoye yehe recipe follow karein aur cooking ka waqt doodh ko skip ker dein.
