Venezuela is launching a cryptocurrency backed by oil, gas, gold and diamonds.<br /><br />President of Venezuela Nicolas Maduro announced on Sunday the launch of the “petro” backed by oil reserves to try and alleviate an economic crisis and food shortages.<br />
