<p>Tropical Storm Kai-tak continued to move northeast towards the Philippines on Friday, December 15, with officials predicting the storm to make landfall in the Samar area on Saturday, December 16</a>.</p><p>This timelapse footage, described as taken one day prior in the Philippines’ northwest Pampanga Province, shows the movement of dark clouds ahead of the oncoming storm.</p><p>The Philippine Star</a> reported that Kai-tak, known locally as Tropical Storm Urduja, was expected to bring maximum winds of 46 miles per hour (75 kilometers per hour) to Samar.
