I went back to the guitar that my grandfather had given me years ago and learned to play my favorite songs by Bob Marley, Sublime and many other musical influences.

I recorded the "Homeotermo" demo, and then I worked with Siddharta (ex-teacher and a good friend), as a producer for my music. This is what he has to say:

"Caloncho is a natural born musician with recently discovered talent (by himself and all who surround him). He sent me a demo and I instantly felt it was a musical obligation to work with him.

There are few words to describe the taste he leaves in your ears, my part on this role was to make his imagination come true. I invite you all to listen our afternoons of music, the moment in which notes become descriptive of a character that will make you dance and sweat the feeling of being in the beach forever."

The EP is called "Fruta" and came out in September, 2013. It sounds like everything I've heard since I started, through Mexican folklore, the beach, a little bit of forest and city, learning situations, existence, nostalgia and love for life.

We experimented a lot during this time, with organic sounds and objects that might not be considered as musical instruments, such as waters, fruit, seeds, lighters, etc. I love it and I want you all to hear my music.

http://www.caloncho.mx

CREDITS / SPONSORS
Director: Gustavo de la Torre Casal
Cinematography: Alonso García Herbozo
Sound & Mixing: Martín Elguera
Marketing: Carlos Altamirano

Sponsors: Veltrac Music / Pasaje 18 /Heart Bit

Tune in again to BalconyTV //
