Up to then I was basically a punk but Go Go had the energy of punk and lyrics as direct and real as punk but you could dance to this all night. From then til now I have put bands together in various places with the aim of reproducing the irresistible rhythm and energy of that night.<br /><br />The latest line up of Quangodelic has purified the funk. We don't play country rock or pop. We are not a new combination of different styles. We are pure punk funk. Music from the tipping point between modern dance music and gospel soul jazz and blues. A mix of Man Duty and Funkadelic.<br /><br />At present we are packing a 4 piece horn section, 2 guitars, keys bass and drums. Top quality musicians making music to dance to.
