Woman kicked out of Starbucks after racist rant

A woman was kicked out of Starbucks by the police after a racist rant against two students - telling them ‘’I don’t want to hear your language’'.<br /><br />The middle-aged woman was sat on a table next to student Annie An and her tutor Sean Lee when she allegedly told them ‘’this is America, use English only’’. Annie, a global studies student who speaks fluent English, then said the woman called her language ‘’disgusting’’ before a waiter arrived to calm the situation at the Starbucks in Walnut Creek, California.<br /><br /> Annie films the woman saying ‘’especially Oriental, I hate it’’ before being told that they are allowed to speak their language. The woman claims ex-president Barack Obama said ‘’everybody in America should speak English’’ as the barrister tells her to ''feel free, please leave’’. The woman angrily replies: ‘’I don’t want to hear the language. If you can sit and be quiet, fine, but I don't want to hear your language. I don’t want to hear it.’' Staff told the woman, who has not been named, to leave then called police who escorted her out of the building. <br /><br />Annie, who is from Seoul, South Korea, said afterwards: 'This was the most unexpected and unbelievable day for me this entire 2017. And I was even more surprised that the woman didn’t stop complaining about my language even when police officers were here.''<br /><br />The tutor, Sean Lee, added: ''This was actually my very first time interacting with someone like this, and that’s why I was even more surprised. You see it on the news but I didn't think it would happen to me.''
