In Pyeongchang, South Korea, the athlete's village for the 2018 Winter Olympics is now complete. According to the press release, on Friday, organizers held a ceremony to celebrate the opening of the village. It will house up to 3,894 athletes.<br />The apartments are clean, basic, and appear functional and not in a state of disrepair, as Rio experienced early on in 2016. The village consists of eight 15-story buildings. In a nearby town, there is also a smaller village. <br />
