<p>A Louisiana dad had the sweetest reaction when his family surprised him with a puppy as an early Christmas present on December 19.</p><p>Sam Lanham</a> shared a clip to Twitter, showing her dad walk in from work to find an adorable pup with a bow tied around his neck. He cannot believe that the dog is for him as first, but later cuddles it, exclaiming “this is my dog!”</p><p>According to Lanham’s tweet, her father’s dog passed away two years ago, so she and her mom decided to surprise him with a new companion to fill the canine-shaped hole in his heart.</p><p>The video had over 14,900 retweets at the time of writing.
