The UN Security Council has unanimously adopted new sanctions against North Korea.<br />Drafted by the United States, the sanctions are in direct response to continued ballistic missile tests.<br />US Ambassador to the UN Nikki Haley stated these new sanctions are in response to a test in late November, and further sanctions passed back in September.<br />Ambassador Haley added the actions of Kim Jong Un's government are a path of isolation. <br />
