Her documents say she was born in the Kurdish city of Kobane in Syria in 1907. But despite her age, Laila Saleh made the dangerous journey across the Aegean to the Greek island of Lesbos in an inflatable boat. She is now in Athens hoping to reach her granddaughter in Germany before she dies. <br />
