<p>Erie, Pennsylvania, broke the state’s all-time daily snowfall record after receiving a total of 34 inches of snow on Christmas Day.</p><p>The previous record</a> was a snowfall of 20 inches on November 22, 1956.</p><p>Snow continued to fall heavily on Tuesday, December 26, as snow levels reached</a> 55 inches in under 36 hours.</p><p>The cold didn’t seem to bother Julia Policano’s husky Nika who battled her way through snow despite being out of her depth.</p><p>A severe weather warning</a> remains in place for Erie until 4pm on December 27 due to heavy lake effect snow occurring.
