<p>A deer being hunted by hounds was saved from its fate on December 26 after finding itself trapped in a garden in the French village of Bonneuil-en-Valois, northeast of Paris.</p><p>Video of the scene shows the wounded deer cornered by hounds in the garden. The uploader praised locals, the mayor and police for preventing the deer’s death.</p><p>According to the Courrier Picard</a>, there were “two hours of tension” between locals and hunters before the deer was eventually spared.
