<p>Officers with Milwaukee Police Department’s District Four division witnessed a vehicle crash on Tuesday, December 26, then quickly sprang to action to save the occupants when the vehicle burst into flames.</p><p>According to the police, Officers Nicholas Schlei and Nicholas Reid were on patrol on the city’s northwest side when they saw the vehicle lose control, strike a utility pole and catch fire. The officers quickly pulled the driver, a 16-year-old boy, and another teenager from the vehicle. A third passenger had already escaped from the vehicle.</p><p>The passengers were taken to a local hospital for treatment and the driver was cited for failure to yield and reckless driving.
