The results are in for the presidential run-off election in Liberia.<br />Former soccer star George Weah will succeed incumbent Ellen Johnson Sirleaf next month.<br />President Sirleaf has served in her role in 2006.<br />The occasion will mark the first democratic transition of authority for Liberia in seven decades.<br />Weah defeated his opponent, Vice President Joseph Boakai, by a vote of 62-percent to 38-percent. <br />
