This is the moment a severe thunderstorm struck the town of St Ives in southwest England.<br /><br />In the time-lapse video, filmed at 6am this morning (December 29), several flashes of lightning can be seen.<br /><br />According to local media, the lightning this morning struck a plane, forcing the pilot to turn around.
