<p>Southbound lanes of US 31 near Muskegon, Michigan, were shut down on Friday, December 29, after roughly 40 vehicles were involved in a pileup.</p><p>According to WOOD TV</a>, visibility on the road was close to zero when one car spun out, causing a chain reaction.
