Storm Dylan battered the west coast of Ireland on Sunday night, sending large waves crashing into a car park in Salthill, Galway.<br /><br />The storm lashed Ireland with wind speeds of close to 120km/hr as the west and north of the country experienced the worst of the weather.<br /><br />The UK is also expected to be hit by the storm with power cuts, flooding and travel disruption are expected on New Year’s Eve.
