<p>A family who were ready to fire up their barbecue for a New Year’s Day party on January 1 were surprised to find a carpet python lying under the grill.</p><p>Snake catcher Stuart McKenzie was called to Twin Waters to fish out a rather long snake that wasn’t meant to be on the menu.</p><p>“He wasn’t a welcome guest at the celebrations,” McKenzie said.
