At least two people were injured, a news report said</a>.</p><p>Twenty-two vehicles were directly involved in the crash, Erie County Executive Mark Poloncarz tweeted</a> following reports of 75 vehicles involved in the crash. Many other vehicles that were not directly involved in the crash were backed up on the highway, he tweeted.</p><p>The National Weather Service issued</a> a blizzard warning until 1am Wednesday for the region amid bands of lake-effect snow.
