U.S. EAST COAST— A meteorological phenomenon known as Bombogenesis, or a cyclone bomb, may occur off the eastern U.S. coast this week. <br /> <br />According to CNN, this occurs when an area of low pressure drops by more than 24 millibars in 24 hours. The result is a bomb cyclone. <br /> <br />Meteorologists predict that one could hit the U.S. on Wednesday or Thursday.
