2018 is shaping up to be one of the most contentious years in American Political history.<br />On one side, you have President Donald Trump.<br />The Republican President is unpopular will liberals and progressives across the country.<br />His base, however, love him.<br />The 2018 midterms will be a referendum on his presidency.<br />His party hopes to gain seats in the House and Senate.<br />But to do that, Republicans need moderate voters and independents to vote for them. <br />
