<p>People were trapped by frozen floodwaters in Hull, Massachusetts, as a nor’easter hit the area on Thursday, January 4.</p><p>This video taken by Hull resident Jen Olivieri shows a woman, who is sitting on the roof of a house, being rescued by firefighters in a loader. Frozen floodwaters can be seen in front of her door.</p><p>Firefighters in Hull were overrun with calls for assistance following the intense winter storm, according to local news reports</a>. The Town of Hull Emergency Management</a> said life-threatening calls, among “calls for service, multiple rescues, fires, people trapped in vehicles, car fires,” would be prioritized.</p><p>Flooding was reported in coastal communities south of Boston during the storm</a>, which brought blizzard conditions and strong winds to much of the northeast.
